Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
God does not need your good works, but your neighbor does. ~Martin Luther
We have a tutoring program for children from Mary Daly elementary school from September through the beginning of May, on Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5:00pm when schools are open and running on time.
If you would like to help with snacks, hall monitoring, reading with an individual child, or supervising play and game times contact Diane Erickson, or call the church office at 574.294.3823.
A Time of Fellowship and Sharing.
We offer a Meal Program on Monday evenings from 5 - 6pm for anyone who is in need because of unemployment, homelessness or is just in need of a little extra help.
Over six years ago we began our Monday Meals program in response to the needs we saw in our local community concerning hunger.
Each Monday a team of dedicated people from our congregation prepare and serve a hot meal for our guests at no cost to them from 5 - 6pm.
We routinely serve between 50 and 60 people each week.
Our meals are open to anyone in need.
We also welcome people from our neighborhood to join us, as well as anyone who wishes just to spend time around a table sharing a meal and conversation.
We also have a small clothing ministry and personal care items that we make available to our guests on Monday nights.
*Monday Night Meals is sponsored in part by Thrivent Financial Services
